The correct name for this man is probably Ezekial, although in many documents he is noted as Hezekial or Hezekiah.

It is noted in R.B. Richardson's history of his family (The "Swish" Family Richardson - 1998) that Ezekial married a woman by the name of Susan at some point between 1861 and 63.

Contrary to the Richarson family research that has been completed in the past; it is now evident that Elizabeth (Brown) Richardson (Ezekial Richardson's first wife) was not the biological Mother of Susannah Richardson.

By 1871 Ezekial had remarried. Also noted was the addition of a daughter, Susannah Richardson.

It is noted in the British Birth/Marriage/Death index's that Elizabeth (Brown)Richarson passed away in early 1859 (during the first quarter) - Susanna's birth occurred 5 - 6 years after the death of Elizabeth (Brown) Richardson in 1864.

The fact that Ezekial's daughter bears the name Susannah only goes to further re-enforce this notion.

Ezekial was a Coal Miner by trade...as was his son in law, Joseph Millthorpe. This is mentioned on the 1901 Census. Ezekial, his daughter Susannah and her husband Joseph all live together in Stavely, Derbyshire. There are also 2 boarders staying with them - they both worked on the Railway.

Ezekial married Elizabeth Fanny Brown. (Elizabeth Fanny Brown was born in 1827 in Aistwood, Buckinghamshire, Britain and died on 25 Feb 1859 in Winkfield, Berkshire, England.)

Ezekial next married Susannah Richardson about 1860 in Staveley, Derbyshire, England. (Susannah Richardson was born about 1823 in Bentley, Essex, Britain.)
