At the time of his ownership he possessed over 115 acres of land, a considerable piece of agriculture at the time. John married Elizabeth Hodgkin, daughter of John Hodgkin and Mary Hodgkin, on 3 Sep 1770 in Hartwell, Pottersbury, Northamptonshire, Britain. (Elizabeth Hodgkin was born on 29 Mar 1752 in Ashton, Northamptonshire, Britain and died on 9 May 1786 in Hartwell, Pottersbury, Northamptonshire, Britain.) The cause of her death was Complications from Childbirth. John next married Martha Smith about 1795 in Hartwell, Pottersbury, Northamptonshire, Britain. |
