Cause of her death was Child Birth Complications - Tuberculosis. Another name for Mary was Annie. Research Information: Although records of Annie (aside from her marriage to George Brockwell) have not been found, it is assumed that she died shortly after giving birth to Maud Brockwell. It should also be assumed that she may have contracted Tuberculosis. Medical Information: Annie & George's last child, Maude Rebecca Brockwell, died of Tuberculosis at nine months of age, it is assumed that Annie contracted the disease while pregnant and passed it on to Maude. It is also assumed that giving birth to Maude further weakened Annie and contributing to her death as well. Mary married George Brockwell, son of George Brockwell and Louisa Lucille Wagstaff, on 23 Aug 1875 in Leslieville, Toronto, Ontario. (George Brockwell was born in Jul 1854 in Leslieville, Toronto, Ontario, died on 23 Mar 1918 in Smiths Falls, Lanark, Ontario and was buried in Smiths Falls, Lanark, Ontario.) The cause of his death was Tuberculosis - Heart Failure/Consumption. |
