Lori Hudson

  General Information:

Lori and her immediate family live in Epping, Victoria, Australia. The Hudson's have been in this area for over a century.

Lori is very passionate about all animals, horses in particular. She currently owns a Quarter Horse mare who will be 13 years old this year. Lori has had her since she was a foal. Lori also has two female Boxer dog's that she "absolutely adores!".

In January/February 2007 Lori started a two year full time Diploma course in Equine Stud Management in an effort to learn more about the breeding of horses.

Lori was the initial individual that this writer initiated contact with (based on a hunch & some dumb luck) in Australia. Contact with Lori and her multitude of relatives in Australia and New Zealand finally linked up the U.K./Canadian/American lines of the Harris family with the long lost (contact with anyone from this family branch ceased on all levels around 1895) legendary Australian Harris clan descent of William Harris' oldest brother, the first born son of James & Jane Harris - the infamous & adventurous Richard Moretayne Harris (1846-1895). Legend had it that this entire family line was murdered by, and became a fine meal for a very angry & hungry New Guinean cannibal tribe around 1894. Of course, this did not happen.

Lori has been, and still is, a steady contributor of her time and information with regards to this large family project. She has also become a good friend to this writer as well.
