Cause of her death was Hypostatic Pneumonia. General Information: Sarah emigrated to Canada in 1872. Research Information: At the time of Sarah's death she appears to have been staying with her son, (Alfred) James London at 414 Strathmore Blvd. in Toronto. It is assumed that she was there to recuperate from her operation since her husband James could not properly care for her. Medical Information: According to Sarah's death registration she had fractured her right femur prior to catching pneumonia. The fracture was set on November 22. No doubt that the fractured femur she suffered and the setting of the fracture weakened her system causing her to come down with a fatal case of pneumonia, passing away five days later at her son's home on Strathmore Blvd. in Toronto. Sarah married James Nathaniel London. (James Nathaniel London was born on 5 Mar 1846 in Barking, Essex, England, died on 19 Jul 1931 in #2 Cameron Place, Toronto, Ontario and was buried on 22 Jul 1931 in Forest Lawn Mausoleum, Toronto, Ontario.) The cause of his death was Ureamic Poisoning due to Enlarged Prostate. |
